Gold and Blue Enamel earrings- Just In
These earrings are a soft, aged gold patina and a bright robin-egg blue enamel that together make a strikingly dramatic and feminine pair of earrings. They have a seed pearl in the center of a gold starburst with very fine granulation details.
These are estimated to be Victorian (1837-1901, the reign of Queen Victoria) a time where drop earrings were the fashion of the day. The gold scroll work above and below the center of the earring is one of our favorite elements.
What keeps these earrings from looking like they belong in Grandma’s jewelry box? The bright blue color and classic oval shape keep them young and fresh feeling. They aren’t overly fussy. A simple pair of jeans, a tee and a pair of great heels (color blocked heels with a touch of blue for the hard core fashionista) and a modern, renaissance look is instantly created all because of an inspiring pair of earrings.
